Entrée du Blogue: Les Carnets De Louise - Le Quotidien Qui Réunit - New-york Filmée Dans Un Timelapse De Toute Beauté ! This is the third episode of our independent... A Taste of ...“ time lapse series. A Taste of New York  from  FilmSpektakel  on  Vimeo . In September 2016 we visited this awesome city to try out some new time lapse stuff. It took us 10 days, a lot of burgers and one helicopter ride to produce this video. 10 days is very little time to discover this city of endless opportunities, so we hardly slept anything and shot day and night for this time lapse film. The city that never sleeps indeed ! The Taxishot... Over the 10 days we took photos of yellow cabs whenever we had time to from as many different angles as possible. So we gathered 2000 (!) photos in total we had to sort afterwards and compile to a hyperlapse around a cab in post production. It took us 5 whole days in post production to get this one shot. Technical Details... In 10 days we shot 65.000 Photos taking up 2,6 TB of our hard drives. The final 3 minute video took 36h to render on the best equipped iMac available. In September we spent two weeks with five cameras and two sleeping bags in Tenerife to explore the island abroad from all the tourism hotspots, focussing on its nature and lost places. In 10 days we slept several nights beneath one of the most breathtaking night skies there are in the whole world, visited ghost town... a forgotten village which used to be a leper colony until it was abandoned, and found a lost hotel, which's construction was suddenly stopped in the 70s because the owner was unknown. We gathered 42.187 shots which kept us over 240 hours busy in post production and take up 1,12 Terra bytes of our hard drives. Video produced by... For this rather experimental time lapse project we bought 2 square meters of mirror and smashed it into pieces. We packed up the shards and drove to the green lake, a very clear pond in Austria which naturally rises its level dramatically during summer times. Laying down the shards in carefully selected places we shot the landscape through the little mirrors with a slider and a macro lens. The logo C&K formed by the shards on the ground stands for our two friends Camo & Krooked, a Drum and Bass Duo, who created this song “If I Could” as their new single.
